To this day, many men still have not understood the work that Christ came to accomplish on Earth. They worship Him blindly, without understanding Him, believing that salvation comes from that; they see Him as God, with the fear of being condemned to hell.
Not even Christ’s disciples understood Him; to believe that the people who follow Him today understand Him is naïve. I am here because I want them to understand Him, because He is my Master, my friend, whom I love and for whom I have deep respect and complete admiration. I know that my Master is still not understood, not even by those who call themselves Christians, because the apostles themselves did not understand Him — let alone those who never knew Him.
Jesus did not come to condemn the world; He came to save it from ourselves. He came to teach true love. He did not only teach it — He lived it, became flesh, and showed humanity that it was possible to love even while being human: to renounce oneself for the sake of one’s neighbor, in an act of true care, with pure intention.
