Jesus, My Home and My Life

Jesus is my home. Jesus is my life. Thank You for the wonders that occur in my life, which have no explanation except through Your glory.

I want to keep You within my heart, Lord. I want to reserve a very large space for You in my heart. No love placed in You is in vain; everything planted in You will germinate, everything cultivated in You will bear fruit, for You are the tree of life: every branch, every bough, every root—everything exists only in You. Through You, everything was made possible.

All I want, Lord, is to strengthen my heart in You, root my peace in You, shine in gratitude for You, and truly love as You do. Transform me each day. I need You. Tomorrow, I want to be closer than I am today; I want, more and more, to be closer to You.

My focus must be on You, Lord. I want to expand; I want Your presence in me and my presence in You to expand. Only peace, only peace do I want upon me. Everything else is added, but in truth, I already have everything, because I have You, and that is worth more than anything—even more than my life, my body, and my blood.

I never want to give up Your name. I want to follow You until the end. Jesus is everything to me: the Lord, my God, through Jesus Christ.
