To Love Above All Things

The first commandment is to love God above all things; upon this commandment, I place Christ’s “follow Me.” To follow the principle of Christ, the one supreme God.

Love: when I think of loving, I think of the beauty of actions, of feelings, toward one’s neighbor. Love is the unmistakable feeling of deep affection; the recognition of this feeling is admirable and moving. Everything comes down to this, and the most important commandment of all is this: to love, to love, and to love.

No feeling, except love, is permitted; the measure between what we can and what we ought, what is fitting for us, is only love. We have the free will to choose everything, but love is the essence of God. To feel love is to become ever more like God; the greater the love you carry, the more like and closer to God you will be.

We must cultivate love for everything and everyone and allow ourselves to feel it. Not to seek to receive love, but to feel it for God, for others, and for oneself. Love is infinite; the love we ought to feel is a calm, serene love. All that matters is this, because life does not lie in the quality of experiences, but in the quality of how we feel, and everything we feel is something we ourselves create.

Purify Me and Mold Me

Lord, nourish my heart and, for all eternity, teach me to attain Thy infinite love. Open my heart, heal it, teach me to think as Thou dost, to have compassion, forbearance, and mercy toward our brothers. Remove from me all impurities, all wicked thoughts, all impure thoughts, everything within me that does me harm. I know Thy power, Jesus; I know that Thou canst transform me, and I permit Thy intercession to mold me. Take from me all the burdens that my heart insists on carrying; I desire to live in full peace, with full trust in Thee and in Thy name. Purify my soul. Mold my spirit.

The Master of Peace and Love

I sought peace in so many places and teachings, I sought it in truth, I sought it in understanding, and I know that all of this was necessary for me now to understand what I know today. Jesus, Thou art the Master of peace, Thou art the Master of love; no one knows better than Thee how to attain peace and love in the heart. Today I understand and comprehend better how Thy consciousness operates, and I am able to accept and believe in Thy presence and in Thy love.

I needed to know, I needed to understand; superficial explanations were not sufficient for me. I could not accept the simple view that the world had of Thee. I had to search through all religions, through all traditions, through all mysteries; I had to search within myself, I had to see with my own eyes, in order finally to understand that I need only follow Thee. Only that. I desire to be present in Thy presence, I desire to feel the love that Thou feelest, I desire to love as Thou lovest, I desire the peace that Thou hast.

Rest in Thy Presence

Beloved Father, today is a new day. Every day is a new day. I am grateful for Thy wisdom, Jesus.

I spent so much time trying to understand, studying, searching, and seeking. The truth brought me clarity, but it had never fully filled me. Today I understand that I do not need to know everything and that I may rest in Thee. I need nothing more than to follow Thee. I have understood what I needed to understand in order to accept the truth, in order to accept Thee completely. Today I see that all I ever truly needed was Thee.

I am grateful to have this understanding today: that I do not need to be perfect, that I do not need to try alone on the path of peace and happiness, that all I need in order to find this peace is to remain in Thy presence, and Thou wilt teach me to be who I need to become in order to attain this divine peace.

Remaining Anchored in Thy Love

Thy presence enlightens me, Thy presence gives me strength, Thy presence transforms me, Thy presence fills me with life. Jesus, I desire Thee always by my side.

I desire to place Thee in all my thoughts, in my decisions; I desire to keep Thee aware of all things: of my life, of my feelings; I desire to be always with Thee, because, Lord, I am a sinner, I have erred and continue erring; I need Thy example, I need Thy counsel, I need Thy love in order to change. Thy presence has saved me, and today I choose to reaffirm my presence in Thee, so as to remain anchored in Thy love, saved from all hatred, fear, deception, and everything that does not come from God.

Abide in Me

Jesus, the only love that does not end, does not change, does not waver. The only eternal love.
The love of the Most High, the peace of the Most High, trust in the Most High.

— How may I attain this peace? How may I cause this eternal love to enter into my heart?

— Follow Me. Remain with Me, in My presence.

— But how, Lord, can I remain in Thy presence if Thou art not here?

— For whenever thou thinkest of Me, I shall be with thee. In My presence thou shalt find the peace thou seekest. In My presence thou shalt feel My infinite love upon thee. Remain with Me, remain in My presence. Speak with Me, give Me thy heart. Confess to Me thy weaknesses. Confess to Me thy sorrows. Confess to Me thy pain. I am always with thee. But it is only when thou openest the door that thou seest My light enter into thy heart. Abide in Me. Remain in Me. Do not flee. Do not draw back. Do not be ashamed. I love thee and long for thy presence, child. In My presence thy heart shall be filled; in My presence peace shall be strengthened. Trust in Me.

— Jesus, I trust in Thee.

— Hear, then, listen and do what I have commanded. For truly, My love is pure, and I have only good for thee. Follow Me; this is the invitation, this is the way, this is the truth, this is the life. Thou needest not know all things, thou needest not grow anxious seeking the truth; I am the truth. In Me thou shalt find all that thou seekest; in Me, this is the way. Place Me first, seek to remain in My presence, and never forget that I am in thine. I shall never depart from the one who confesses Me before men. I am here for thee and for thy sake; hear My voice and follow Me, My little sheep.

Have this relationship with Me. Love God above all things. Thy love for Me shall not go unnoticed among men, nor among the angels. Be faithful to Me, for I am faithful to thee. None of the promises I made to thee were in vain; truly, all shall be fulfilled. Do not forget Me. If thou drawest near to Me, nothing shall be impossible, and thou shalt live the kingdom of God in thy heart.

Consciousness, Healing, and Love

To live as Christ, first of all, is to be conscious of everything that passes through our mind, of that with which we identify; to perceive these thoughts, to recognize their origins, and to transmute them into a perspective of love. Each day that we have thoughts that cause us negative emotional impact: meditate, heal, and seek what is higher.

Communion with God in the Now

To live a Christian life is not about receiving a reward or escaping a condemnation, but about choosing to live now in communion with God, in communion with all that brings light, lightness, and harmony, and to turn away from that which causes darkness, confusion, and terror. The reward is not in the future, but in the now; communion with God in the present is already the gift. Perfect happiness does not exist so long as we have not become perfect.

Life is in the now. What matters is not yesterday, nor tomorrow, but what you choose today: to be with the light, love, and harmony, or to be anywhere else. To live is always a decision, a continual decision. There will not be a day when everything changes completely in the blink of an eye, except by means of continual change, until it reaches the critical point of transforming reality. The choice happens in the now, and we live the result of our accumulated history.
