Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except through Him. Not because you say, “I accept Jesus,” and believe that this will save you, but rather because, when you listen to and believe in the truth proclaimed by Him, you will see the path that will fill you with life.
Jesus is admirable; the love I feel for Him is indescribable, but we need to stop holding superficial beliefs, which serve more to anesthetize the ego than to truly transform you, and begin to place Jesus as the highest priority in our life. There is nothing more important to human life than what was taught by Christ; we need to study, meditate, and put into practice, every day, each teaching.
We have to focus on what was said by Jesus and understand the depth of His words. The divine commandment is based on love, it is the state of love, it is living in love; we have to feel love at all times, we have to act through love, we have to be guided by love and, of all that we can love, we have to place God as the highest priority. There can be nothing more important than God for you, there can be no priority greater than God, there can be no other motive except God. After placing this value in our philosophy of life, after burying in our hearts God as the greatest importance, we have to cultivate love for Him and live in love at all times. When we do this, we transcend all illusions, all prisons, all manipulations, and we will be totally free in God. Everything comes down to this.
