There is no perfect circumstance for you to begin placing God as a priority in your life. There is no right moment. You do not need to wait; you can begin now, change your thinking, change your beliefs, and recognize what was said by Christ, and define now, at this exact moment:
“There is nothing more important than God in my life. God is more important than anything, than anyone. God is infinite in love, knows all that He does, and always wants what is best for me, but He gave me the free will to choose, and today I recognize the greatest teaching of Christ and choose God today and forever, just as He has always chosen me. God is the central value in my life, and all I need to do is simply love Him with all my heart and with all my understanding, and place Him in all my thoughts, all my days, and never forget Him.”
When you believe this, when you make this a truth, you have finally understood what it means to “accept” Jesus. To accept Jesus is not a declaration that one makes, but a complete change within you. If you have “accepted” Jesus and did not perceive this, and still live a life of illusion, you understood nothing, and, at the end of the age, Jesus will say: “Depart from me, you who practice iniquity.”
